What are your policies regarding damages and liability?

There is a lot of care taken with each and every item.  We treat it as our own.  However, we do carry $100,000 cargo insurance.  We take pictures as we pick the vehicles up and deliver them to ensure items are delivered in the same manner as they were received.

How long can I expect transport to take?

As we try to maximize our efficiency, we may have other deliveries along our route to you. As a rule of thumb, transport does not take more than 3 days and is usually much less. One of the benefits of having a 5 car hauler is that we can deliver faster than larger transport companies.

What form of payments do you accept?

We accept cash, PayPal, and pre-approved checks. You must inform us if you intend to pay with a check and have it pre-approved prior to pick-up. Also, we may add a 4.5% fee for PayPal payments.

What is a Bill of Lading (BOL) and what purpose does it serve?

A Bill of Lading (BOL) is an agreement to transport an item(s) and is generally completed in detail (VIN, license #, serial #s, make, model, specific IDs) and signed by both parties, the shippee and the shipper. The BOL also includes the agreed upon transport fee. In most cases, this form takes the place of an invoice.

How far in advance should I schedule the transportation of my goods?

Scheduling ahead is always a good idea.  However, you never know when we might be headed your way or have an empty spot to fill.  Let us know as soon as possible so that we can accommodate you and / or reserve your spot.  There are clients with more than 1 item and may need all the room for one shipment.  Depending on the time of year and availability, generally we can ship in 2 weeks.

How long is the quoted price good for?

Due to our ever-changing economy, the fluctuation of fuel costs, etc., we will honor our quotes for a limited time of 30 days. After 30 days, you will need to receive a new quote. Pick-up and delivery must be made within 30 days of the quote. If it is our fault the delivery wasn't made, we will still honor the quote. However, that means that your shipment must be picked up by the 28th day.
